Outer Gate — Wài Guān
This acupuncture point is used to expel wind-heat in fever, sore throat and light sweating. Especially when the pathogenic factor is between the surface and the inside of the body. This causes symptoms such as chills and fever, which alternate, irritability, pain in the upper abdomen and bitter taste in the mouth.
