In the front of the two depressions that appear when the arm is raised to the side, there is the acupuncture point LI 15, in the rear recess TB 14. Both are important local points for shoulder problems.
Depending on the exact location of the pain in the shoulder, it may be more of a problem in the large intestine, small intestine, or triple warmer meridian. This can be found out by knowing the course of the meridians.
