Chinese Herbal Blend: Weidinger W13 - The Moist Heat Module
Mixture according to Dr. med. Georg Weidinger from his book "Die Chinesische Hausapotheke" (published by Goldmann Verlag), book page 478. (Order book online at Amazon).
Application:
Damp heat, skin irregularities, chronic inflammatory skin diseases (neurodermatitis), ulcerative colitis, restlessness and mental heat, general heat conditions.
TCM: Discharge damp heat
Observe safety rules: (see also book page 476, 477)
1. Do not use for too long! The mixture is thermally very cold and this can lead to diarrhea with prolonged use. This is basically a sign of successful heat elimination, but should not last too long.
2. As soon as diarrhea or other complaints in the gastrointestinal tract occur, the mixture should be suspended. It is then recommended to drink hot water and eat cooked food in the coming days to strengthen the center again.
3. When you take this mixture of herbs, the body is greatly cooled down. Therefore, it is all the more important to strengthen the spleen energy through proper nutrition.
