Qi Gong exercises
explained
Exercise description
Starting position is the shoulder to hip width qigong stance. Inhale and bring your left hand to the lower back with a scooping motion. Place it on the kidney area with the back of the hand.
Now lift the right arm with the inhale in front of the body up to the ceiling. Once there, begin to exhale and let the arm sink down behind the body in a continuation of this circular movement. The upper body follows this arm movement and bends down.
When the right hand reaches near the right foot, straighten the upper body again. While doing this, take a deep breath. This movement is now repeated several times. In the last repetition, the raised right arm sinks down and rests with the back of the hand on the kidney area
Now release the left arm and begin to perform the same movement with the left arm.
Frequently asked questions
I can't bend down that far?
Do the exercise as best you can and go down only as far as you can easily. In your mind, however, you should do the exercise as if you were getting to your feet.
Can I do the exercise even with disc problems?
Please do not do this exercise if you have problems with your intervertebral discs. Such problems always belong in the hands of an experienced doctor or therapist. He or she can then decide together with the patient whether an exercise like this is appropriate at the moment.
What you can do, however, is to do the exercise in an upright position. Only the downward roll is not done. You just imagine how you do the roll down. The upward movement of the hands can then be done again without any problems.

Pro tip from Wolfgang
During the movement, try to visualize your kidneys - as big as your fist, they are located in the area of the lower back. Visualize them being massaged and moved by the external movement.

Thank you very much dear Sabine for this beautiful comment! Kind regards Wolfgang
Hello Karin. Thank you very much for your nice message. I am always happy about feedback from colleagues. I can imagine that the situation was not exactly easy last year. To your question. There is currently neither a DVD nor an online course of the five elements. We decided to cover this project with the live training. Creating a course is a lot of work and since we are a small team, we are limited with our resources. I still think that there will be a course in the future. But there is the 5 elements sequence once with 15 minutes and once with 32 minutes on Youtube. You can save it there. I wish you all the best!
Sincerely
Wolfgang
